Hi! I mostly write about first hand experiences that fit into my niche. What was helpful for me was to write a mission statement for Bucket List Journey (which is: Bucket List Journey gives the tools and inspiration for every person in the world to live their bucket list), then I broke the mission statement down into categories that I wanted to write about (bucket lists, travel, motivation and money). Now every article that comes to mind, I make sure that it fits into both my mission statement and one of the categories. I try to rotate topics too, just so its not all travel for months and then motivation for months. I hope that helps!

Whilst we started our own travel blogging journey 12 months ago its always valuable to read differing opinions on set up a successful blogs. Some tips that you’d think would be straightforward always seem to be overlooked – like having a contact e-mail on the site!

The assurances over time required is also very helpful as it makes everything realistic.
